The Rozas 1er Cru has a slight change in 2022 and turned into a village wine, the 2022 Rozas. They selected the best five vineyards that used to go to the Rozas 1er Cru, vineyards they have worked since 2012. In this warmer vintage, they did a softer vinification, with less maceration and more fermentation without skins, to avoid over-ripeness and notes of black fruit in the wine. It has more fruit and some silty tannins, which are more like Italian tannins in the more Mediterranean years like this 2022. This village is more subject to the changes in the years, with more herbal and ethereal notes in the wines in cooler years and juicier and with more marked tannins in the warmer ones. It has 14.5% alcohol and is more jovial, definitely not banal. 10,992 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2023.
The guys at Comando G continue to improve vintage after vintage, and the Rozas 1er is proof of that. It is as good a young wine as I have ever tried: with a beautiful transparent colour, almos rosé, with aromas of flowers, preserved strawberries, freshly sugar-dusted pastries, orange, a touch of aniseed and more... The palate is extremely elegant, light but impressively intense, with a complexity that replicates the aromas, but supported by fine chalky tannins. Not a hint of sweetness. The second night was even better than the first. Gorgeous and with the possibility of improving further.

Un grande vino!
Rozas 1er 2018 è un grande vino che mi ha ricordato un po' i grandi vini di bordeaux: il colore è rosso rubino tenue con un unghia aranciata, trasparente ma consistente; al naso è ricco, con sentori di amarene sotto spirito, tabacco e caffè, vaniglia, grafite e note vegetali... In bocca è morbido, con il frutto che ritorna, ha un acidità vibrante e un tannino moderato ed elegante, è strutturato e ben equilibrato, intenso, persistente, armonico, di finissima qualità.

Garnacha
Pocas veces una garnacha ha transportado tanto a la Borgoña. Si La Bruja de Rozas (también de Comando G) ya apunta grandísimas formas y el enorme respeto de estos elaboradores por la variedad, este Rozas 1er es la sublimación del estilo. Nariz muy fresca, viva, compleja, con precisos recuerdos minerales. Y boca a la altura, de cuerpo ligero, con un equilibrio muy borgoñón de intensidad y delicadeza. Multitud de matices, paso suave, y final largo y placentero.

Viva la garnacha
Otro gran vino de Comando G. Que cosas más interesantes se están haciendo en Madrid y en la Sierra de Gredos. Este en concreto me ha gustado más incluso que otros de mayos precio de la misma bodega. Muy recomendable este monovarietal de garnacha. Siempre en mi bodega

Bella esperienza
Vino interessante. Ha profumi articolati e accattivanti, prevalentemente di piccoli frutti ma non solo, e al sorso rivela una struttura tannica sorprendente,. Da stappare con due o tre ore di anticipo. Soddisfacente anche in relazione al prezzo
